Patsy Gwinn Ingels aka Hallie Leanna Tench Ingels, 91, Athens, Ohio, and formerly Gallipolis, Ohio, passed away Sunday, May 2, 2004, at Kimes Convalescent Center, Athens. She was born October 30, 1912, in Slab Fork, West Virginia, daughter of the late Walton G. and Laura B. Payne Tench. From the age of nine months, Patsy was reared in the home of her aunt and uncle, the late Lelia Payne Gwinn and John R. Gwinn.
A 1931 graduate, Gallia Academy High School, Gallipolis,
Mrs. Ingels received a B. S. Degree, Secondary Education, Ohio University, 1935 and was a member of the Alpha Delta Pi Sorority. Following her graduation from Ohio University, she taught school for seven years. .
On June 1, 1935, at St. Marys, W.Va., she married, Dr. Clyde J. Ingels, a dentist who practiced in Middleport, Ohio, for thirty five years. He preceded her in death as well as her two sisters: Mary Frances Tench Jones and
Sara Elizabeth Tench Clayton.
Funeral services will be held, 1:00 PM, Wednesday, May 5, 2004, in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, 420 First Ave., Gallipolis with Rev. Bob Ingram and Rev. Barbara Jean Carriere` officiating
Interment will follow in Mound Hill Cemetery, Gallipolis.
Friends may call at the Funeral Home, on Tuesday, 5:00-7:00 P.M.
