INGELS FUNERAL IS SET FOR MONDAY
Funeral services will be held here Monday for Oscar L. Ingels 65, Oakland Pioneer, who died yesterday at his home, 495 Elwood Avenue.
Ingels had been in poor health for several years but his death was unexpected. Heart disease was given as the cause.
A native of Iowa, Ingels was bought to California as a baby by his parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Ingels. They settled in Marysville and for many years Ingels engaged in extensive ranching operations here. He retired 2 years ago and came to Oakland where he has since made his home. He was an enthusiastic member of the Scottish Bowling Club..
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. May B. Ingels, one son, Earl M Ingels of Oakland; a brother W. H. Ingels of San Francisco; two sisters, Mrs. Dora Brorsen of Oakland and Mrs. Anna Hindson, of Sydney, Australia, and several nieces and nephews, among them Oscar L. Ingels of Oakland and San Francisco newspaperman.
The funeral will take place at 10 a.m. Monday from the Bessie Wood Chapel 2850 Telegraph Avenue
