CASTLE ROCK, Colo. -- Wilma M. "Willy'' (Ingels) Appleby, 77, Castle Rock, formerly of Pickering, Mo., died Thursday, Jan. 21, 1999, at a health-care center in Castle Rock.
Born in Pickering on Sept. 22, 1921, Mrs. Appleby was reared in Missouri and had lived in Colorado since 1950 and had been a resident of Castle Rock since 1997.
On Dec. 22, 1939, she married Robert Appleby. He survives.
Mrs. Appleby was preceded in death by her parents, William and Thelma Ingels.
Additional survivors: a daughter, Sandy Terhark, Sedalia, Colo.; two sons, Gary R., Colorado Springs, Colo., and H.A., Arvada, Colo.; three brothers, Leroy and Hugh Ingels, both of Colorado Springs; and Harold Ingels, Maryville, Mo.; two sisters, Garnetta Wallace, Apache Junction, Colo., and Martha Buckridge, Maryville; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Service: 11 a.m. Monday, Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home, Colorado Springs. Private family burial: in funeral home cemetery. Family visitation: noon to 3 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home.
