Mayfield Rites set Tuesday
Mrs. Deloris Pauline Mayfield 51, Everest, died yesterday
afternoon at her home. She suffered with a heart ailment.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 pm at the
Harouff-Arensberg chapel, with the Rev. Harold Wolfe, pastor
of the Everest Christian Chruch officiating. The place of burial
will be announced.
Members of the family will recieve friends at the Harouff-
Arensburg Mortuary from 7:30 to 8:30 pm tomorrow. The
casket will remained closed after the start of the services.
Born Aug. 9, 1920 in Atchison. Mrs. Mayfield was a daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Ingels. She graduated from Atchison High
in 1938.
She and James Isaac Mayfield were married June 11, 1939,
and engaged in farming in the Cummings area before moving
to Everest in May of 1948.
Mrs. Mayfield was a member of the First Christian Church
at Everest and taught a Sunday school class.
Surviving are her husband of the home. three sons, Eugene
Mayfield, Everest. Robert and Paul Mayfield, both of the home.,
four sisters, Mrs. Mary Garrison, and Mrs. Howard(Bessie) Ricketts,
Nortonville, Mrs. Everett(June) Hearlson, Wellington, Mrs. Ralph
(Dorothy) Low, Valley Falls, two brothers, Kenneth Ingels,
1109 Sana Fe in Atchison, and Frank Ingels, Loraine, Ohio, and
three grandchildren.
A brother and a sister proceeded her in death.
