Frank Ingels Of Holton Dies at 55.
Frank Charles INGELS, 55, Holton, was dead on arrival at a Topeka hospital Sunday after he suffered a heart attack while attending an auction in South Topeka.
He was born May 13, 1910, at Netawaka, and had lived at Holton since 1941. He operated a retail produce station at Holton and operated a farm on the north edge of Holton.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Emeline Ingels, of the home; two sons, Marvin Ingels, 3572 Mayo, and Kenneth Charles Ingels, Garden City; two daughters, Mrs. Darlene Louise CATTRELL, Nortonville, and Mrs. Joyce Maxine PARRET, 228 Woodland; his mother, Mrs. Maude Ingels, Whiting; two sisters, Mrs. Edith SCHUMANN, Wetmore, and Mrs. Leone ARMSTRONG, Horton; two brothers, Clarence Ingels, St. Joseph, Mo., and Marvin A. Ingels, Whiting; and six grandchildren.
Mercer Funeral Home at Holton is in charge of arrangements.

Emeline R. Ingels Scheidegger, 92, Holton, died Oct. 12, 2005, at Holton Community Hospital. She was born Sept. 12, 1913, in Enid, Okla., the daughter of John Robert and Cordelia Jane Stuart McClaskey. Mrs. Scheidegger lived in Holton since 1940 and previously lived in St. Joseph, Mo. She was self-employed at Ingel's Produce Store and she also worked at Ben Franklin's and The Hamburger Inn ("The Dump"), all in Holton. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church. She married Frank Charles Ingels on Sept. 17, 1930. He died Jan. 23, 1966. She later married George N. Scheidegger on Oct. 14, 1978. He died Oct. 3, 1986. She also was preceded in death by a son, Marvin Ingels, in 1987, two sisters, Pearl Down and Lillie Rowe; two brothers, Bill McClaskey and Bryan McClaskey; and a stepson, Fred Scheidegger. Survivors include a son, Kenneth Ingels and wife Mary Beth, Canton; two daughters, Darlene Cattrell and husband Kenny, Nortonville, and Joyce Parrett and husband Keith, Circleville; a daughter-in-law, Elsie Ingels, Topeka; two stepdaughters, Betty Moore, Holton, and Lois Johnson and husband Don, Topeka; a stepson, Dale Scheidegger and wife Corky, Holton; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Oct. 15 at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial was in Netawaka Cemetery.
